The Yamaha YFZ50 2021 should be run on unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 91 (R+M)/2.
It is recommended to change the oil every 20 hours of operation or at least once a year, whichever comes first.
To adjust the chain tension, first loosen the rear axle nut, then turn the chain adjuster nuts on both sides of the swingarm equally until the desired tension is achieved. Tighten the axle nut after adjustment.
The recommended tire pressure for the Yamaha YFZ50 2021 is 4 psi for both front and rear tires.
If the Yamaha YFZ50 2021 is not starting, check the fuel level, ensure the kill switch is in the 'run' position, verify the battery is charged, and inspect the spark plug for any issues.
If the Yamaha YFZ50 2021 overheats, stop the engine immediately and let it cool down. Check coolant levels if applicable, and inspect for any obstructions in the airflow or radiator.
Regularly inspect the brake pads for wear, ensure the brake fluid is at the proper level, and check for any leaks in the brake lines or connections. Adjust the brake lever free play if necessary.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting the air filter, checking tire pressure, adjusting the chain, and ensuring all nuts and bolts are tightened properly.
To clean the air filter, remove it from the airbox, wash it with a mild detergent and water, allow it to dry completely, and then apply a light coat of air filter oil before reinstalling.
For winter storage, clean the vehicle thoroughly, change the oil, add fuel stabilizer to the tank, disconnect the battery, and store it in a dry, covered area. Elevate the vehicle off the ground if possible to prevent tire damage.
