Ensure the ATV is in neutral, turn the ignition key to the 'ON' position, and press the start button while holding the brake lever.
Use a high-quality 10W-40 four-stroke motorcycle oil that meets or exceeds the specifications set by Yamaha.
Change the oil every 6 months or every 20 hours of use, whichever comes first.
Check the battery charge, ensure the ATV is in neutral, and verify that the kill switch is in the 'RUN' position.
Loosen the rear axle nut, adjust the tensioner bolts evenly on both sides until proper tension is achieved, then retighten the axle nut.
Maintain a tire pressure of 4 psi for both the front and rear tires.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, wash it with a mild soap and water solution, let it dry, and apply a light coat of filter oil before reinstalling.
Stop the ATV, let the engine cool down, check the coolant level, and inspect for any leaks or blockages in the cooling system.
Remove the spark plug cap, use a spark plug wrench to unscrew the plug, inspect and clean or replace it if necessary, ensuring the gap is set to the manufacturer's specifications.
Clean the ATV thoroughly, change the oil, stabilize the fuel, disconnect the battery, and store it in a dry, cool place, elevated off the ground if possible.
