Yamaha YFM35XW Wolverine 2007 Owner's Manual

Yamaha recommends using 10W-40 API SG type engine oil for the 2007 YFM35XW Wolverine. Ensure it is suitable for 4-stroke engines and meets JASO MA standards.
It is recommended to change the engine oil and oil filter every 3,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first, to ensure optimal engine performance.
Check the battery connections, fuel levels, and spark plug condition. Ensure the kill switch is in the "RUN" position and the fuel valve is open. If problems continue, inspect the starter motor and ignition system.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Clean it with compressed air or wash it with a mild detergent and water. Let it dry completely before reassembling. Replace if damaged.
The recommended tire pressure is 4.4 psi for the front tires and 4.0 psi for the rear tires. Regularly check and adjust tire pressure to maintain optimal handling and performance.
Start by checking all fuses and connections for corrosion or damage. Test the battery voltage, and inspect the wiring harness for wear. Use a multimeter to trace any electrical flow issues.
Inspect the brakes, tire pressure, fluid levels, lights, and throttle operation. Ensure there are no loose bolts or parts. Check for any oil or fuel leaks before starting your ride.
Adjust the preload on the front and rear shocks to accommodate your weight and riding style. Turn the preload adjuster clockwise to increase stiffness, counterclockwise to soften the ride.
Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine immediately. Allow it to cool before checking the coolant levels and radiator for blockages. Ensure the cooling fan is operational.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, and ensure the air filter and spark plug are clean. Avoid excessive idling and aggressive acceleration for better fuel efficiency.
