The 2011 Yamaha Grizzly 350 recommends using a 10W-40 or 10W-30 API type SJ or later motor oil, specifically designed for 4-stroke engines. Ensure the oil is suitable for wet clutch systems.
The air filter should be inspected every 20 hours of use or every month. Clean it if necessary and replace it annually or if it shows signs of wear or damage.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 4.4 psi, and for the rear tires, it is 3.6 psi. Always check tire pressure when the tires are cold.
If your Grizzly 350 is not starting, check the battery for charge, ensure the ignition switch is on, inspect the spark plug for fouling, and verify that the fuel is reaching the engine.
Check the drive belt for wear or damage and ensure it is properly adjusted. Inspect the clutch for wear and replace any worn components.
Locate the brake adjustment nuts near the brake lever and turn them to tighten or loosen the brake cable. Ensure the brakes engage fully when the lever is pulled.
Clean the ATV thoroughly, change the oil, fill the gas tank and add stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store it in a dry, cool place. Elevate the tires off the ground to prevent flat spots.
Maintain proper tire pressure, keep the air filter clean, use the recommended grade of fuel, and perform regular maintenance checks to ensure the engine runs efficiently.
Overheating can be caused by low coolant levels, a clogged radiator, a malfunctioning thermostat, or a blocked cooling fan. Regularly check and maintain the cooling system.
To replace the spark plug, remove the spark plug cap, use a spark plug socket to unscrew the old plug, and install a new one with the correct gap. Reattach the spark plug cap securely.
