The recommended oil for the Yamaha YFM350XM C Warrior 2000 is 10W-40 four-stroke motorcycle oil.
The air filter should be inspected and cleaned every 20 hours of operation or more frequently if used in dusty conditions. Replace it if it shows signs of damage or excessive dirt that cannot be cleaned.
The recommended tire pressure is 4 psi for the front tires and 4 psi for the rear tires. Always check the pressure when the tires are cold.
If the Warrior is not starting, check the battery for charge, ensure the fuel valve is in the correct position, inspect the spark plug for wear or fouling, and confirm that the engine stop switch is in the "Run" position.
Regular maintenance includes changing the oil and oil filter every 20 hours of operation, checking and adjusting the chain, inspecting and replacing the air filter as needed, and checking the brakes and tire pressure.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the rear axle nut, adjust the chain adjusters on both sides to achieve 1.2-1.6 inches of slack, and then retighten the axle nut securely.
If overheating occurs, check the coolant level and refill if necessary. Inspect the radiator for obstructions or damage, and ensure the fan is operational. Avoid idling the engine for extended periods in hot weather.
To replace the spark plug, remove the spark plug cap, use a spark plug socket to unscrew the old plug, check the gap on the new plug (0.6-0.7 mm), and install it by hand before tightening with the socket. Reattach the spark plug cap securely.
For off-season storage, clean the ATV thoroughly, change the oil and filter, drain the fuel or add a stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store it in a dry, cool place. Elevate the tires off the ground if possible to prevent flat spots.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure the air filter is clean, maintain proper tire pressure, use the recommended oil, and avoid aggressive riding. Regular maintenance checks can also help maintain optimal engine performance.
