To perform routine maintenance, regularly check the oil level, clean the air filter, inspect the brake system, and lubricate all moving parts. Refer to the owner's manual for specific service intervals and procedures.
Use a high-quality 10W-40 or 20W-50 4-stroke motorcycle oil that meets or exceeds the JASO MA standard. Ensure the oil is suitable for wet clutch use.
If the Grizzly 350 won't start, check the battery charge, inspect the spark plug for wear, ensure the fuel is fresh, and verify that the kill switch is in the correct position.
The recommended tire pressure is 5 psi for the front tires and 5 psi for the rear tires. Adjust according to your load and terrain conditions.
To adjust the brakes, locate the adjuster nut near the brake lever or pedal and turn it to achieve the desired tension. Ensure the brakes engage smoothly and effectively.
If the engine overheats, stop the vehicle immediately, let it cool down, check the coolant level, and inspect for any coolant leaks. Do not continue driving until the issue is resolved.
To clean the air filter, remove it from the airbox, wash it with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and let it dry completely before re-oiling and reinstalling it.
Common electrical issues include dead batteries and faulty connections. Check battery terminals for corrosion, inspect wiring for damage, and ensure all connections are secure.
It is recommended to inspect the spark plug every 6 months and replace it every 12 months or every 3,000 miles, whichever comes first. Use an NGK DR8EA or equivalent.
For winter storage, clean the ATV thoroughly, change the oil, fill the gas tank, add a fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store it in a dry, covered area.
