Use a high-quality 4-stroke engine oil with a viscosity rating of SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40. Ensure it meets the JASO MA standard for wet clutch compatibility.
It's recommended to change the oil every 20 hours of use or every 6 months, whichever comes first, to ensure optimal engine performance and longevity.
The recommended tire pressure is 4 psi for the front tires and 5 psi for the rear tires. Always check the tire pressure before each ride.
First, check the battery for sufficient charge. Ensure the fuel valve is open and inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. Additionally, verify that the kill switch is in the correct position.
Stop the engine immediately and allow it to cool down. Check coolant levels and inspect for leaks. Ensure the radiator is clean and unobstructed. If the problem persists, consult a professional mechanic.
Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and replace if necessary. Ensure brake fluid is at the correct level and free of contaminants. Check brake lines for leaks or damage.
Use an NGK DR8EA spark plug or equivalent, ensuring it is properly gapped to 0.6-0.7 mm before installation.
Remove the air filter and gently wash it with a mild detergent and water. Allow it to dry completely before applying a light coat of air filter oil. Reinstall securely.
Regularly inspect the drive chain, brakes, tire pressure, fluid levels, and electrical connections. Also, check for loose bolts and nuts, and ensure all controls operate smoothly.
To adjust the carburetor, locate the idle screw and adjust it to achieve a smooth idle. If necessary, adjust the air-fuel mixture screw to ensure optimal performance. Consult the owner's manual for specific settings.
