It is recommended to use a 10W-40 or 20W-40 four-stroke motorcycle oil for optimal performance and engine protection.
The oil should be changed every 600 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes help maintain engine health.
The recommended tire pressure is 4.4 psi for the front tires and 3.6 psi for the rear tires. Always check the pressure when tires are cold.
Check the battery for charge, ensure the fuel is fresh, inspect the spark plug for wear, and verify the kill switch is in the correct position.
Overheating can be caused by low coolant levels, a clogged radiator, or a malfunctioning thermostat. Ensure coolant is topped up and inspect the radiator for debris.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, ensure the air filter is clean, and avoid carrying unnecessary weight.
Check for air in the brake lines and bleed the brakes if necessary. Also inspect the brake pads for wear and replace if they are worn down.
Loosen the axle nut, adjust the chain tension using the adjusters on both sides, and ensure the chain has about 1 inch of slack in the middle. Tighten the axle nut after adjustment.
The recommended spark plug gap is 0.6 - 0.7 mm (0.024 - 0.028 inches). Ensure to check the gap with a feeler gauge when replacing the spark plug.
Remove the carburetor from the engine, disassemble it, and clean each part using a carburetor cleaner. Pay special attention to the jets and passages. Reassemble and install it back after cleaning.
