Use a high-quality 4-stroke engine oil with a viscosity grade of 10W-40 for the Yamaha YFM125GA Grizzly 125 2011. Ensure the oil meets or exceeds the JASO MA standard for wet clutches.
The air filter should be inspected and cleaned every 20 hours of operation or every 100 miles, whichever comes first. Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively dirty.
The recommended tire pressure for the Yamaha Grizzly 125 is 2.5 psi for the front tires and 2.9 psi for the rear tires. Always check the pressure when the tires are cold.
First, check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Inspect the battery for sufficient charge and connections. Examine the spark plug for wear or fouling and replace if necessary. Ensure the engine stop switch is in the "run" position.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the rear axle nut, adjust the chain adjusters equally on both sides using the marks as a guide, and tighten the axle nut to secure. Ensure there is 20-30 mm of slack in the chain.
Locate the brake fluid reservoir on the handlebar. Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface. Check the fluid level through the sight glass. It should be between the upper and lower marks. Top off with DOT 4 brake fluid if necessary.
Stop the vehicle immediately and let the engine cool down. Check the coolant level and top off as needed. Inspect for coolant leaks and ensure the radiator fins are not obstructed. If the problem persists, consult a professional mechanic.
To change the spark plug, remove the spark plug cap, use a spark plug socket to remove the old plug, install the new spark plug, and reattach the spark plug cap. Ensure the new plug is properly gapped and torqued to specifications.
The engine oil should be changed every 6 months or every 600 miles, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes help maintain engine performance and longevity.
Clean the vehicle thoroughly, change the oil, and fill the fuel tank. Add fuel stabilizer and run the engine for a few minutes. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the vehicle to protect it from dust and moisture.
