Use Yamalube 4, 10W-40 or equivalent high-performance oil for optimal engine performance.
The oil should be changed every 3,000 miles or 5,000 kilometers, or every six months, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure is 33 psi for the front tire and 36 psi for the rear tire.
Check the battery charge, inspect the starter motor and ignition system, and ensure that the fuel supply is adequate.
To adjust the clutch, locate the clutch cable adjuster, loosen the locknut, and turn the adjuster to achieve the desired free play, then retighten the locknut.
Regularly check the brake fluid level, inspect the brake pads for wear, and ensure that the discs are not warped or damaged.
If the bike overheats, stop riding, turn off the engine, and allow it to cool. Check coolant levels and inspect for any leaks or radiator blockages.
Ensure regular maintenance, keep tires properly inflated, use high-quality fuel, and ride smoothly to improve fuel efficiency.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, clean it with compressed air or replace if necessary, and reinstall it securely.
Remove the valve covers, use a feeler gauge to measure the clearance, and adjust the valves using the adjustment screws if they are out of specification.
