It is recommended to change the oil every 4,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the engine.
Use 20W-50 motorcycle oil that meets the JASO MA standard for wet clutches, providing optimal lubrication and protection.
Check the battery charge and connections, ensure the kill switch is in the "Run" position, and inspect the starter relay and fuses.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi for the front tire and 41 psi for the rear tire. Always check the pressure when the tires are cold.
Avoid rapid acceleration, maintain steady speeds, regularly check and maintain tire pressure, and ensure the engine is well-tuned.
Regular maintenance includes oil changes, checking and replacing the air filter, inspecting brakes and tires, and checking fluid levels.
Locate the clutch cable adjuster, loosen the locknut, and turn the adjuster to achieve the desired free play, then tighten the locknut.
Stop the motorcycle, allow it to cool, check the coolant level, inspect for leaks, and ensure the radiator fan is operational.
Inspect the battery, fuses, and wiring connections. Use a multimeter to check voltage and continuity in circuits.
Check the brake fluid level and condition. Bleed the brake system to remove any air bubbles present in the lines.
