Yamaha XSZ13TFZ C, XSZ13TFSZ C Star 2010 Owner's Manual

To change the oil, warm up the engine, place the bike on a level surface, remove the drain plug, and let the oil drain into a pan. Replace the oil filter, reinstall the drain plug, and fill with new oil as per the manual's specifications.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi for the front tire and 42 psi for the rear tire. Always check the pressure when the tires are cold.
Check the battery charge and terminals for corrosion. Ensure the fuel valve is on and the kill switch is set to 'Run'. If the issue persists, inspect the spark plugs and fuel lines.
Use a high-quality ethylene glycol-based coolant that is specifically formulated for aluminum engines. Ensure it is mixed with distilled water in a 50/50 ratio.
Replace the air filter every 12,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. If you ride in dusty conditions, check and replace it more frequently.
Stop the engine immediately and let it cool down. Check the coolant level and refill if necessary. Inspect the radiator for blockages and ensure the fan is operational.
Locate the clutch cable adjuster near the left handlebar. Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjuster to achieve the desired free play in the clutch lever, then retighten the lock nut.
Clean the bike thoroughly, change the oil, add fuel stabilizer, charge the battery, and store it in a dry, cool place. Cover the motorcycle to protect it from dust and moisture.
Maintain proper tire pressure, ensure regular engine maintenance, avoid rapid acceleration, and remove any unnecessary weight from the bike.
Check the headlight fuse and bulb for any damage. Inspect the wiring connections for corrosion or loose contacts. Replace any faulty components as needed.
