Use a high-quality 4-stroke motorcycle oil with a viscosity rating of 10W-40. Make sure the oil meets the JASO MA standard for wet clutches.
It's recommended to change the oil every 20 hours of riding or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific maintenance intervals.
The recommended tire pressure is 15 psi for the front tire and 18 psi for the rear tire. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
Check the fuel level, ensure the fuel valve is open, inspect the spark plug for fouling, and verify that the battery is charged. If the problem persists, consult a mechanic.
To tighten the chain, adjust the rear axle using the chain adjusters found on the swingarm. Ensure that there is about 1 inch of slack when properly adjusted.
Remove the air filter from the airbox, wash it with mild soap and water, let it dry completely, and apply air filter oil before reinstalling it.
The recommended spark plug is NGK CR6HSA. Always check the gap and adjust if necessary before installation.
Consider adjusting the preload on the rear shock absorber and ensure the fork oil level is correct. Upgrading to aftermarket suspension components can also enhance performance.
First, allow the engine to cool down. Check the coolant level and ensure there are no leaks. Inspect the radiator for obstructions and clean it if necessary.
Clean the bike thoroughly, change the oil, add fuel stabilizer to the gas tank, and remove the battery to store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the bike to protect it from dust and moisture.
