The recommended oil type for the Yamaha TT-R50EJ TT-R50E 2018 is SAE 10W-40, API service classification SJ or higher.
It is recommended to change the oil every 3 months or after every 10 hours of riding, whichever comes first.
Check the battery charge, ensure the fuel valve is on, inspect the spark plug, and verify that the engine stop switch is in the "run" position.
Loosen the axle nut, adjust the chain adjusters evenly on both sides until the chain has 10-15mm of slack, and then retighten the axle nut.
The recommended tire pressure is 15 psi for both the front and rear tires.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, clean it with a non-flammable solvent, let it dry, and then apply air filter oil before reinstalling.
Remove the spark plug cap, unscrew the old spark plug using a spark plug wrench, and install a new one with the correct gap (0.6-0.7mm).
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting the brakes, adjusting the chain tension, cleaning the air filter, and checking tire pressure.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 91 (R+M)/2.
To store your bike for the winter, clean it thoroughly, add fuel stabilizer, change the oil, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place, and cover the bike to protect it from dust.
