The Yamaha TT-R50EE 2014 is recommended to use Yamalube 4, 10W-40 or any equivalent high-quality motor oil that meets or exceeds the JASO MA standard.
It is recommended to change the oil every 6 months or every 600 miles (1000 km), whichever comes first. Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.
The recommended tire pressure for the Yamaha TT-R50EE 2014 is 14 psi for the front tire and 14 psi for the rear tire. Always check and adjust the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
If your Yamaha TT-R50EE 2014 won't start, check the following: ensure the fuel valve is open, the engine stop switch is in the "RUN" position, and the battery is charged. If these are in order, inspect the spark plug for fouling or wear.
To clean the air filter, remove the seat to access the air filter cover. Take out the air filter and clean it with a mild detergent and warm water. Let it dry completely before applying a light coat of air filter oil and reinstalling.
The recommended spark plug for the Yamaha TT-R50EE 2014 is the NGK CR6HSA. Ensure it is gapped correctly to 0.6-0.7 mm (0.024-0.028 inches) for optimal performance.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the axle nut and adjust the chain adjuster bolts on either side of the swingarm to achieve 1.2-1.6 inches of slack at the chain's midpoint. Tighten the axle nut after achieving the correct tension.
If the bike is overheating, first check the coolant level. Ensure that the radiator is not clogged with debris and that the cooling fan is operational. If issues persist, consult a professional mechanic.
Regularly inspect the brake pads for wear and replace them if necessary. Check the brake fluid level and top up with DOT 4 brake fluid if needed. Ensure that the brake lines are free from leaks and damage.
Basic maintenance should be performed every 6 months or 600 miles (1000 km), which includes checking the oil, air filter, brakes, and tire pressure. More comprehensive checks should be done annually or every 1200 miles (2000 km).
