It's recommended to change the oil every 15-20 hours of riding or at least once every riding season. Always use high-quality 10W-40 motorcycle oil.
The recommended tire pressure is 15 psi for the front tire and 15 psi for the rear tire. Always check the tire pressure before each ride.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the rear axle nut and adjust the chain adjusters equally on both sides until the chain has about 1.2-1.6 inches of slack. Then, retighten the axle nut securely.
The recommended spark plug for the Yamaha TT-R125LEE 2015 is NGK CR7HSA. Ensure the spark plug gap is set to 0.6-0.7 mm.
First, check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Inspect the spark plug for fouling and check the battery charge. If issues persist, inspect the carburetor for clogs or dirt.
Regular maintenance includes checking and cleaning the air filter, inspecting the chain and sprockets, checking brake pads and fluid, and lubricating cables. Perform these tasks every few rides or monthly.
To adjust the carburetor, locate the air/fuel mixture screw and idle screw. Adjust the air/fuel mixture screw to achieve a smooth idle, then set the idle speed screw to the desired RPM. It's recommended to do this when the engine is warm.
Remove the air filter from the housing, wash it with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and let it dry completely. Apply a light coating of air filter oil before reinstalling.
Performance can be improved by upgrading the exhaust system, installing a high-flow air filter, and rejetting the carburetor. Always ensure these modifications are compatible with your bike.
Spongy brakes often indicate air in the brake lines. Bleed the brakes to remove air bubbles and check brake fluid levels. Inspect brake pads for wear and replace if necessary.
