For optimal performance, it's recommended to change the oil every 20 hours of riding or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific guidelines.
Yamaha recommends using unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 (RON 91) to prevent knocking and ensure smooth engine performance.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the rear axle nut, then turn the chain adjuster bolts on each side of the swingarm evenly. Aim for about 1.2 inches of slack at the midpoint of the chain. Tighten the axle nut after adjustment.
Common causes include an empty fuel tank, a clogged fuel line, a dead battery, or a faulty spark plug. Ensure all these components are in good condition and functioning properly.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the air filter, wash it with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and let it dry completely. Apply air filter oil before reinstalling it.
The recommended tire pressure is 15 psi for the front tire and 15 psi for the rear tire. Check tire pressure regularly to ensure safety and performance.
The TT-R125EX features adjustable rear suspension. Use the preload adjuster on the shock absorber to set the desired stiffness based on your weight and riding conditions.
Engine overheating can be caused by low oil levels, a clogged air filter, or a blocked exhaust. Ensure all these components are clean and at the correct levels.
You can improve performance by upgrading the exhaust system, using a high-flow air filter, and ensuring regular maintenance such as oil changes and spark plug replacements.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting the brakes and tires, cleaning the air filter, adjusting the chain tension, and ensuring all bolts are tight.
