To adjust the touch sensitivity on the Yamaha QT-2, press the 'Function' button, navigate to 'Touch Sensitivity', and use the arrow keys to select the desired sensitivity level (Soft, Medium, or Hard).
If the keys are sticking, gently clean around the affected keys with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquids. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
To connect the QT-2 to an external amplifier, use a standard 1/4 inch audio cable to connect the 'Line Out' jack on the piano to the input jack on the amplifier.
Replacing a broken key requires removing the keybed cover and unscrewing the damaged key. It is recommended to have this done by a professional technician to avoid voiding the warranty.
To perform a factory reset, turn off the piano, then hold down the highest white key while turning the piano back on. This will reset all settings to factory defaults.
Regularly dust the piano with a soft cloth, keep it away from direct sunlight and humidity, and schedule annual servicing with a qualified technician.
Check if the volume is turned up, the 'Mute' function is disabled, and headphones are not plugged in. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or a technician.
To record your performance, press the 'Record' button, then select a track to record on. Press 'Start' to begin recording, and 'Stop' to finish.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code. If the issue is not resolved, contact Yamaha customer support for assistance.
Download the latest firmware from the Yamaha website, transfer it to a USB drive, insert the drive into the QT-2, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
