Yamaha PSR-F50 Owner's Manual

To connect headphones, use the headphone jack located on the rear panel of the PSR-F50. Plug in a standard 1/4 inch stereo headphone jack to enjoy private practice sessions.
Check if the power adapter is properly connected to both the keyboard and a functioning power outlet. Ensure that the power switch is in the 'ON' position. If using batteries, verify that they are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge.
To reset the PSR-F50 to its factory settings, turn off the keyboard, then hold down the highest white key while turning the power back on. This will restore the default settings.
The PSR-F50 can be powered using six AA alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. Ensure they are inserted as per the polarity markings in the battery compartment.
To transpose, press the 'Function' button until the display shows 'TRANSPOSE'. Use the '+' or '-' keys to adjust the transpose setting up to 12 semitones in either direction.
Ensure that the volume is turned up and that the keyboard is not set to a split mode where only certain keys produce sound. If the issue persists, check for any physical obstructions or internal issues that may require professional servicing.
Press the 'Voice' button, then use the number buttons to enter the desired voice number. Refer to the voice list in the manual for available options.
The PSR-F50 does not have a sustain pedal input. However, you can manually sustain notes using the sustain function available in the keyboard's settings.
The PSR-F50 does not support saving user settings. You will need to adjust settings each time you turn on the keyboard.
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard. Avoid using any cleaners or solvents. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the keyboard.
