Yamaha PSR-260 Owner's Manual

To transpose the keys on your Yamaha PSR-260, press the "FUNCTION" button repeatedly until you see "TRANSPOSE" on the display, then use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the pitch up or down.
First, ensure the keyboard is properly plugged in and turned on. If the issue persists, try resetting the keyboard by turning it off and unplugging it for a few minutes. If the problem continues, consider consulting a professional technician.
To connect your PSR-260 to a computer, use a MIDI-to-USB interface cable. Connect the MIDI OUT of the keyboard to the MIDI IN of the interface, and then connect the USB end to your computer. Ensure you have the necessary drivers installed on your computer.
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surface of the keyboard. Avoid using any liquid cleaners or solvents. For harder-to-reach areas, a small, soft brush can be used. Ensure the keyboard is unplugged before cleaning.
Check the volume settings and ensure the volume is not muted. Verify that the headphones are not plugged in, as this will mute the speakers. If using an external amplifier, ensure all connections are secure.
The PSR-260 does not have built-in recording capabilities. However, you can connect it to a computer or an external recording device using a MIDI interface to record your performances.
To perform a factory reset, turn off the keyboard. Then, while holding down the highest white key, turn the keyboard back on. This will reset all settings to the factory defaults.
The Yamaha PSR-260 requires a PA-3B or equivalent AC power adapter. Ensure the adapter matches the voltage and current specifications to avoid damage to the keyboard.
To change the voice settings, press the "VOICE" button, then use the numeric keypad to enter the voice number you wish to select. You can also use the "+" and "-" buttons to scroll through the available voices.
Check to ensure the keyboard is properly connected to a power source. If the issue persists, try a different power outlet or adapter. If the display still does not work, professional repair may be needed.
