Thank you for purchasing a Yamaha GA-15 Guitar Amplifier. To get the best results and longest life out of your GA-15, we recommend that you carefully read this manual, and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
To avoid possible damage do not expose the unit to: direct sunlight very high or low temperature/humidity sand or excessive dust * Especially inside a vehicle, the temperature may rise
excessively do not leave the GA-15 in your parked car on a sunny day!
Before connecting/disconnecting cables or turning the unit on/ off, be sure to set the VOLUME control on the GA-15 to 0.
Keep the GA-15 away from neon signs or fluorescent lighting to prevent noise pickup.
Precautions
WARNING- When using any electrical or electronic product, basic precautions should always be followed. These precautions include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Read all Safety Instructions, Installation Instructions, Special Message Section items, and any Assembly Instructions found in this manual BEFORE making any connections, including connection to the main supply.
2. Do not attempt to service this product beyond that described in the user-maintenance instructions. All other servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.
3. Main Power Supply Verification: Yamaha products are manufactured specifically for the supply voltage in the area where they are to be sold. If you should move, or if any doubt exists about the supply voltage in your area, please contact your dealer for supply voltage verification and (if applicable) instructions. The required supply voltage is printed on the name plate. For name plate location, please refer to the graphic found in the Special Message Section of this manual.
4. DANGER-Grounding Instructions: This product must be grounded and therefore has been equipped with a three pin attachment plug. If this product should malfunction, the ground pin provides a path of low resistance for electrical current, reducing the risk of electrical shock. If your wall socket will not accommodate this type plug, contact an electrician to have the outlet replaced in accordance with local electrical codes. Do NOT modify the plug or change the plug to a different type!
5. WARNING: Do not place this product or any other objects on the power cord or place it in a position where anyone could walk on, trip over, or roll anything over power or connecting cords of any kind. The use of an extension cord is not recommended! If you must use an extension cord, the minimum wire size for a 25' cord (or less) is 18 AWG. NOTE: The smaller the AWG number, the larger the current handling capacity. For longer extension cords, consult a local electrician.
6. Ventilation: Electronic products, unless specifically designed for enclosed installations, should be placed in locations that do not interfere with proper ventilation. If instructions for enclosed installations are not provided, it must be assumed that unobstructed ventilation is required.
7. Temperature considerations: Electronic products should be installed in locations that do not seriously contribute to their operating temperature. Placement of this product close to heat sources such as; radiators, heat registers etc., should be avoided.
8. This product was NOT designed for use in wet/damp locations and should not be used near water or exposed to rain. Examples of wet /damp locations are; near a swimming pool, spa, tub, sink, or wet basement.
9. This product should be used only with the components supplied or; a cart ,rack, or stand that is recommended by the manufacturer. If a cart, rack, or stand is used, please observe all safety markings and instructions that accompany the accessory product.
10. The power supply cord (plug) should be disconnected from the outlet when electronic products are to be left unused for extended periods of time. Cords should also be disconnected when there is a high probability of lightening and/or electrical storm activity.
11. Care should be taken that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through any openings that may exist.
12. Electrical/electronic products should be serviced by a qualified service person when: a. The power supply cord has been damaged; or b. Objects have fallen, been inserted, or liquids have been spilled into the enclosure through
openings; or c. The product has been exposed to rain; or d. The product does not operate, exhibits a marked change in performance; or e. The product has been dropped, or the enclosure of the product has been damaged.
13. This product, either alone or in combination with an amplifier and headphones or speaker/s, may be capable of producing sound levels that could cause permanent hearing loss. DO NOT operate for a long period of time at a high volume level or at a level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or ringing in the ears, you should consult an audiologist.
IMPORTANT: The louder the sound, the shorter the time period before damage occurs.
14. Some Yamaha products may have benches and/or accessory mounting fixtures that are either supplied as a part of the product or as optional accessories. Some of these items are designed to be dealer assembled or installed. Please make sure that benches are stable and any optional fixtures (where applicable) are well secured BEFORE using. Benches supplied by Yamaha are designed for seating only. No other uses are recommended.

q INPUT Connect your guitar to this jack.
w CH SELECT: CLEAN/DRIVE (Channel Select Switch) Depress the switch (>) to engage the DRIVE mode which adds distortion to the sound. When the switch is in the raised position (?), the amplifier is in the CLEAN mode and produces sound without distortion.
e VOLUME This knob controls the volume level of the amplifier. * No sound is produced when the VOLUME knob is set to its 0
position.
r TREBLE This knob controls the level of the amplifiers high frequencies.
Handle the unit carefully never apply excessive force to the controls and avoid dropping the unit.
For safety, always remove the power plug from the AC wall outlet if there is any danger of lightning striking in your area.
To prevent damage and possibly electrical shock, never open the case and tamper with the internal circuitry.
Never use solvents such as benzene or thinner to clean the GA-15. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth.
t BASS This knob controls the level of the amplifiers low frequencies. * If the TREBLE and BASS knobs are both set to 0, no sound will
be produced even though the VOLUME knobs level is raised.
y PHONES Connect a pair of headphones to this jack. * The speaker will produce no sound when a pair of headphones is
connected to this jack.
u POWER This is the amplifiers power switch. When the power is ON, the indicator to the left of the switch lights.

Pour viter toutes possibilits de dommage, ne soumettez pas lappareil aux conditions suivantes :
en plein soleil temprature/humidit extrmement leve ou basse sable ou poussire excessive * La temprature peut slever excessivement lintrieur

Avant de brancher/dbrancher les cbles, ou de mettre lappareil sous/hors tension, veillez rgler la commande VOLUME du GA-15 0.
loignez le GA-15 des enseignes lumineuses au non ou des dispositifs dclairage lampes fluorescentes pour quil ne recueille pas de parasites.

w CH SELECT: CLEAN/DRIVE (slecteur de canaux) Enfoncez le slecteur (>) pour passer en mode DRIVE qui ajoute de la distorsion au son. Lorsque le slecteur est en position releve (?), l'amplifica- teur est en mode CLEAN, c'est--dire qu'il dlivre un son sans distorsion.

Par mesure de scurit, premez toujours la prcaution de dbrancher la prise dalimentation secteur de la prise murale utilise pour lalimentation si la foudre risque de tomber dans la rgion o vous utilisez votre instrument.

Zunchst mchten wir uns bei Ihnen dafr bedanken, da Sie sich fr den Gitarrenverstrker GA-15 von Yamaha entschieden haben. Um das Potential Ihres GA-15 ber Jahre hinweg voll ausschpfen zu knnen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, diese Anleitung aufmerksam durchzulesen und dann fr spter anfal lende Fragen gut aufzubewahren.
Um mgliche Beschdigungen zu verhten, schtzen Sie das Gert bitte vor:
direkter Sonnenbestrahlung sehr hoher bzw. niedriger Temperatur/
Luftfeuchtigkeit Sand und extremer Staubeinwirkung * Insbesondere in einem geschlossenen
Fahrzeug kann die Temperatur extrem ansteigen. Lassen Sie den GA-15 an einem sonnigen Tag nicht in Ihrem geparkten Auto liegen!
Vor dem Anschlieen/Abtrennen von Kabeln bzw. Ein-/Ausschalten des Gerts stellen Sie den VOLUME-Regler am GA-15 auf 0.
Neon- und Leuchtstofflampen knnen Rauschen induzieren. Halten Sie das Gert von solchen Lichtquellen fern.

y PHONES An dieser Buchse knnen Sie Kopfhrer anschlieen. * Solange Kopfhrer angeschlossen sind,
erzeugt der Lautsprecher keinen Ton.
u POWER Mit diesem Schalter wird der Verstrker ein- und ausgeschaltet. Bei eingeschaltetem Verstrker leuchtet zur Besttigung die Anzeigelampe links neben dem Schalter.

Gracias por la adquisicin del Amplificador de Guitarra Yamaha GA-15. Para aprovechar al mximo y conseguir la ms larga vida de servicio del GA-15, le recomendamos que lea con atencin este manual y que lo guarde en un lugar seguro para poderlo consultar cuando sea necesario.
Para evitar posibles daos, no exponga el aparato a:

Manipule el aparato con cuidado, no aplique nunca fuerza excesiva en los controles, y evite que se caiga el aparato al suelo.

Vi ringraziamo per aver acquistato lamplificatore per chitarra Yamaha GA-15. Per ottenere sempre il massimo dal vostro GA-15 e farlo durare a lungo, raccomandiamo di leggere attentamente questo manuale e conservarlo quindi in un luogo sicuro per poterlo consultare in caso di necessit.
Per evitare possibili danni, non esporre lunit a:
luce solare diretta temperature e umidit molto alte o molto
basse sabbia o polvere eccessive * alle temperature alt issime che si
generano in una vettura parcheggiata allaperto, particolarmente destate: non lasciare il GA-15 in automobile!

Trattare lunit con cautela. Non applicare forza eccessiva ai comandi e non farla cadere.
Per la sicurezza, rimuovere sempre la spina del cavo di alimentazione dalla presa di rete se vi pericolo di lampi in zona.
Per evitare guasti e possibil i scosse elettriche, non aprire mai lunit e modificare i suoi circuiti.
Non usare solventi come benzina o diluenti per pulire lGA-15. Usare solo un panno soffice ed asciutto.

Dank u wel voor het aanschaffen van de Yamaha GA-15 Gitaarversterker. Om de beste resultaten uit uw GA-15 te halen en een lange levensduur te garanderen, raden wij u aan deze handleiding zorgvuldig door te lezen en deze op een veilige plaats te bewaren zodat u er later nog eens iets in op kunt zoeken.
Om mogelijke schade te voorkomen mag u het toestel niet blootstellen aan:
direct zonlicht zeer hoge of lage temperaturen/vochtigheid zand of te veel stof * In het bijzonder binnenin een voertuig
kan de temperatuur te hoog oplopen - Laat de GA-15 niet achter in uw auto op een zonnige dag!
Zet de VOLUME knop van de GA-15 op 0 voor u kabels gaat aansluiten/loskoppelen en voor u het toestel aan/uit zet.
Houd de GA-15 uit de buurt van neon borden of fluorescentie (TL) verlichting om ruis te voorkomen.

hoge tonen regelen.
t BASS Met deze knop kunt u de versterking van de lage tonen regelen. * Als de TREBLE en BASS knoppen alle-
bei op "0" staan, zal er geen geluid wor- den geproduceerd, ook al draait u de VOLUME knop naar een hogere stand.
y PHONES Hierop kunt u een hoofdtelefoon aanslui- ten. * De luidspreker zal geen geluid produce-
ren wanneer er een hoofdtelefoon is aan- gesloten op deze aansluiting.
u POWER Dit is de hoofdschakelaar van de verster- ker. Wanneer de stroom is ingeschakeld (ON), zal de indicator links van de scha- kelaar oplichten.

Behandel het toestel met zorg - oefen in geen geva l overdreven kracht u i t op de bedieningsorganen en laat het toestel niet vallen.
