Yamaha FX HO, FX Cruiser HO Waverunner 2022 Owner's Manual

The recommended fuel type for the Yamaha FX HO and FX Cruiser HO Waverunner 2022 is unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 86.
It is recommended to change the oil every 50 hours of operation or at least once per season, whichever comes first.
First, check the battery connections and ensure the battery is charged. Verify that the safety lanyard is attached properly and inspect the fuel level. If the issue persists, consult the owner's manual or contact a Yamaha dealer.
To winterize your Waverunner, perform an oil change, flush the cooling system with fresh water, add a fuel stabilizer, and store the unit in a dry, cool place. It's also advisable to disconnect the battery and store it in a warm area.
Rinse the Waverunner with fresh water after each use, especially after riding in saltwater. Dry it thoroughly and apply a protective wax coating to the hull and deck. Use anti-corrosion spray on metal components.
During the first 10 hours of operation, avoid full-throttle starts and vary the engine speed. Do not operate at full throttle for extended periods, and allow the engine to cool between rides.
Check the spark plugs for wear and replace them if necessary. Inspect the fuel system for any clogs or leaks, and ensure that the fuel is fresh. If the problem continues, a mechanic should inspect the throttle body.
Attach a garden hose to the flushing connector, start the engine, and then turn on the water. Allow the water to circulate for a few minutes, then turn off the water before stopping the engine.
Use the electronic trim control located on the handlebars to adjust the trim. Raising the trim will lift the bow, reducing drag for higher speeds, while lowering it improves stability and maneuverability.
Before the season begins, perform an oil change, inspect and replace the spark plugs if needed, check the battery charge, inspect the hull for damage, and ensure all safety equipment is in good condition.
