It is recommended to change the oil every 3,000 to 4,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Always use the oil grade specified in the owner's manual.
Use a high-quality ethylene glycol-based coolant specifically designed for aluminum engines. Ensure it is mixed with distilled water at a 50/50 ratio.
Check the battery connections for corrosion and ensure they are tight. Verify the battery charge and replace it if necessary. Inspect the starter motor and ignition system for faults.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi for the front tire and 42 psi for the rear tire. Always check the pressure when the tires are cold.
Routinely check the brake fluid level and top it off with DOT 4 brake fluid if necessary. Inspect brake pads for wear and replace them if they are below the minimum thickness.
Common causes include low coolant levels, a faulty thermostat, a malfunctioning radiator fan, or a clogged radiator. Regular maintenance and inspection can prevent these issues.
Refer to the owner's manual for the suspension adjustment procedure. Typically, you can adjust the preload and damping settings depending on your riding style and load.
Check the fuel system for blockages, inspect the air filter, and ensure that the spark plugs are functioning correctly. A diagnostic check might be necessary if the problem persists.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular engine maintenance, avoid aggressive acceleration, and ensure the motorcycle is not carrying unnecessary weight.
Clean the motorcycle thoroughly, change the oil, fill the gas tank, add a fuel stabilizer, remove the battery and store it in a warm place, and cover the motorcycle to protect it from dust and moisture.
