Yamaha Clavinova CLP-250 Owner's Manual

To turn on the Yamaha Clavinova CLP-250, locate the power switch on the right side of the keyboard. Press the switch to the 'ON' position. Make sure the power cable is properly connected to an electrical outlet.
First, ensure the piano is turned on and the volume is turned up. If the keys are still unresponsive, check all cable connections. If the issue persists, it may require professional servicing.
To adjust the volume, use the volume slider located to the left of the keyboard panel. Slide it to the right to increase the volume and to the left to decrease it.
Regular maintenance for the CLP-250 includes dusting the exterior with a soft cloth, avoiding exposure to extreme temperatures, and having the instrument serviced by a professional every few years.
To connect headphones, locate the headphone jack beneath the left-hand side of the keyboard. Insert the headphone plug into the jack. Ensure the headphones are compatible with the standard 6.35mm stereo plug.
Check if the volume is turned up and ensure that headphones are not plugged in. Verify that the connections are secure and the power is on. If the problem continues, consult a technician.
The CLP-250 does not have built-in recording capabilities. To record, you can use an external recording device connected to the output jacks or use MIDI connections to record to a computer.
To transpose the keyboard, press and hold the 'Transpose' button and simultaneously press the key corresponding to the desired transposition amount. Release the 'Transpose' button to set the transposition.
Use a slightly damp, soft cloth to gently wipe the keys. Avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive moisture. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution.
Press the 'Voice' button to cycle through the available sounds. Each press will select a different voice. Refer to the user manual for a list of available voices.
