To change the water filter, locate it inside the refrigerator, usually at the top or bottom corner. Turn the filter counterclockwise until it releases. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until secure. Reset the filter indicator if applicable.
Check if the temperature settings are correct. Ensure the vents inside the fridge are not blocked. Clean the condenser coils located at the back or bottom of the fridge. If the problem persists, consider contacting customer service.
To defrost the freezer, remove all items and unplug the fridge. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt. Place towels to absorb water. Once defrosted, clean the interior and plug the fridge back in.
Ice build-up can be caused by a faulty door seal, frequent door opening, or blocked vents. Ensure the door seals are intact and the vents are unobstructed to prevent warm air from entering.
Unplug the fridge and locate the condenser coils at the back or bottom. Use a vacuum or brush to remove dust and debris. Clean the area thoroughly and then plug the fridge back in.
For optimal performance, set the refrigerator compartment temperature to around 3-4°C and the freezer to -18°C. Adjust as necessary depending on the ambient temperature and fridge load.
Unusual noises can be due to the fridge being unlevel, items inside vibrating, or the compressor working harder than usual. Ensure the fridge is level and items are not touching the interior walls.
It is recommended to clean the interior of your fridge every three months. Remove all items, use warm soapy water to wipe down surfaces, and ensure everything is dry before replacing items.
First, check if the bulb needs replacing. If it is a LED unit, it may require a technician. Ensure the fridge is unplugged before replacing any bulbs or parts.
Ensure the door seals are tight, avoid placing hot food inside, and keep the fridge away from heat sources. Regularly clean the condenser coils and maintain optimal temperature settings.
