To change the water filter, locate the filter compartment inside the fridge, twist the old filter counterclockwise to remove it, insert the new filter, and twist it clockwise until it locks into place. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear any air and impurities.
Ensure the fridge is plugged in and the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Check the condenser coils for dust accumulation and clean them if necessary. Make sure the door seals are intact and not obstructed. If the issue persists, consult a technician.
Ensure the freezer door is fully closed and not frequently opened. Check the door seal for any gaps or damage. Avoid overloading the freezer, which can block air vents. Regularly defrost if ice builds up beyond 1/4 inch.
Use a mixture of mild detergent and warm water to clean the interior shelves and drawers. Avoid abrasive cleaners. For the exterior, use a soft cloth and a gentle cleaner. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.
Locate the temperature control panel inside the fridge. Use the buttons to adjust the temperature settings for both the fridge and freezer compartments. Wait 24 hours for the new settings to stabilize.
Noise can be caused by the fridge not being level, items inside vibrating, or the compressor running. Level the fridge using the adjustable feet, rearrange items to prevent them from touching, and check for any loose parts.
Manual defrosting is required when the ice buildup exceeds 1/4 inch. Typically, this can be every 6 months, depending on usage and humidity levels.
Water leakage can occur if the defrost drain is blocked. Clean the drain with warm water to remove any obstructions. Also, check if the fridge is level to prevent water from pooling.
It's not recommended to store hot food directly in the fridge as it can raise the internal temperature, affecting performance. Allow hot food to cool before placing it inside.
First, check if the fridge is properly plugged in. If the fridge is working but the light isn't, replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. If the problem persists, consult a technician.
