To clean the oven interior, use a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid using steel wool or harsh chemicals. For tough spots, apply the cleaner and let it sit for a few minutes before wiping.
Check that the range is plugged in and the circuit breaker is on. Ensure the burner caps are properly positioned. If the igniter still doesn't work, it may need cleaning or replacement.
To calibrate the oven, press and hold the "Bake" button until the display shows "00". Use the "Up" or "Down" arrows to adjust the temperature setting. Press "Bake" again to save the changes.
After each use, scrape off food debris with a spatula. When the griddle cools, wipe with a damp cloth. Season periodically with a thin layer of cooking oil to maintain the non-stick surface.
Ensure the oven door is fully closed and the gasket is intact. Check if the temperature sensor is functioning. If problems persist, a professional inspection may be necessary.
The oven door will remain locked until the interior cools down. If it doesn't unlock automatically, check the manual for specific reset instructions or contact Viking support.
First, try resetting the range by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. If the issue persists, the control panel may require service or replacement.
The air filter should be checked every 6 months and replaced as needed. If you cook frequently or notice reduced performance, consider more frequent replacements.
Only use cookware that is compatible with induction cooktops, such as magnetic stainless steel or cast iron. Avoid non-magnetic materials like copper or aluminum unless they have a magnetic layer.
Ensure that the oven racks are properly positioned and not overcrowded. Uneven cooking can also result from a faulty bake element or temperature sensor, which may require professional service.
