To assemble the Vax U86-AC-B, start by attaching the handle to the main body of the vacuum cleaner. Ensure the handle clicks into place. Then, connect the hose to the hose connector on the main body. Finally, attach any desired accessories to the hose or the main unit as needed.
If your Vax U86-AC-B loses suction power, check for blockages in the hose, filters, and brush bar. Clean or replace filters if necessary and remove any obstructions. Ensure that the dust container is not full and that all connections are secure.
Filters should be cleaned every 3 to 6 months depending on usage. Rinse them under lukewarm water and allow them to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use soap or detergents.
Regularly check the brush bar for tangled hair and debris. Use scissors to carefully remove any entangled materials. Ensure the brush bar can rotate freely and is not obstructed.
To prevent overheating, ensure that the filters are clean and there are no blockages in the air pathways. Avoid running the vacuum continuously for more than 30 minutes. If it overheats, turn it off and let it cool down before restarting.
A loud noise could be caused by blockages, damaged brush bar, or worn-out bearings. Inspect these components and clear any obstructions. If the noise persists, consider consulting a professional for further investigation.
To replace the belt, first unplug the vacuum. Remove the base plate to access the brush bar. Take out the brush bar and old belt, then attach the new belt to the motor spindle and brush bar. Reassemble the components in reverse order.
Ensure the vacuum is plugged in and the power switch is on. Check the fuse and power cord for any damage. If the vacuum still doesn't start, consider contacting customer support for assistance.
To empty the dust container, press the release button to detach it from the main unit. Hold it over a trash bin, open the bottom lid to release the dirt, and close it securely before reattaching to the vacuum.
The Vax U86-AC-B is suitable for most floor types, including carpets and hard floors. Adjust the brush bar height if necessary and use the appropriate nozzle for delicate surfaces to prevent damage.
