Vax S86-SF-P, S86-SF Series User's Guide

To assemble the Vax S86-SF-P steam cleaner, attach the handle to the main body until it clicks into place. Ensure all parts are securely connected before use.
To clean the water tank, empty any remaining water, rinse with warm water, and wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid using detergents or abrasive materials.
Ensure the water tank is filled, the unit is plugged in, and the power switch is on. If the issue persists, check for clogs in the nozzle and descale the unit if necessary.
Descale your steam cleaner every 3-6 months depending on usage and water hardness. Use a suitable descaling solution following the manufacturer's instructions.
The steam cleaner is suitable for sealed hard floors. Avoid using on unsealed wood, waxed surfaces, or any surface sensitive to heat and moisture.
After use, unplug the unit, empty the water tank, and allow it to cool. Store in a dry place with the cord wrapped neatly.
To improve cleaning efficiency, vacuum the floor before steaming and use the appropriate cleaning pad for the type of dirt and floor surface.
Streaks may result from using a dirty cleaning pad or hard water. Ensure pads are clean and consider using distilled water if you have hard water.
Do not add cleaning solutions, perfumes, or detergents to the water tank. Use water only as additives can damage the unit.
To replace cleaning pads, turn off and unplug the unit, allow it to cool, then remove the pad by peeling it away from the base. Attach a new pad by aligning it with the base and pressing firmly.
