To assemble the Vax S7-AV, first connect the steam handle to the main body. Attach the floor head to the lower part of the main unit and ensure it clicks into place. Finally, attach the cleaning pads to the floor head.
Use only distilled or demineralized water in the Vax S7-AV to prevent limescale buildup and ensure optimal performance.
To descale, mix equal parts of white vinegar and water, fill the tank halfway, and run the steam cleaner until half the solution is used. Rinse the tank and run the cleaner again with clean water to remove any vinegar residue.
If your steam cleaner is not producing steam, check if the water tank is empty, ensure the unit is plugged in and turned on, and inspect for any blockages in the nozzle or hose.
Replace the cleaning pads when they show signs of wear or after approximately 50 washes to maintain cleaning efficiency.
No, do not use any detergents or chemical cleaners with the Vax S7-AV. It is designed to clean using steam alone.
Ensure the unit is turned off and cooled down, empty the water tank, and wrap the cord neatly around the hooks provided. Store the cleaner in a dry place.
Check if the water tank is securely attached and inspect the rubber seals for damage or misalignment. Replace seals if necessary.
Remove the filter from the unit and rinse it under cold water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting it into the steam cleaner.
Regularly check and clean the filter, descale the machine every 3 months, inspect the cleaning pads, and ensure all parts are securely attached before use.
