To adjust the cutting height, locate the height-of-cut lever on the mower's left side. Move the lever to the desired cutting height position, which ranges from 1.5 to 4.5 inches. Ensure the mower is on a flat surface when adjusting.
First, check if the parking brake is engaged and the blades are disengaged. Ensure the battery is charged and all safety interlocks are in place. If the problem persists, inspect the fuel system and spark plugs for issues.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of operation, then every 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Use SAE 10W-30 oil with an API service classification of SF, SG, SH, SJ, SL, or higher.
To improve fuel efficiency, keep the blades sharp, maintain proper tire pressure, and clean the air filter regularly. Also, avoid mowing at full throttle when not necessary and reduce idling time.
Perform daily checks of the oil level, air filter, and tire pressure. After every 50 hours, inspect the belts. Every 100 hours, change the oil and filter, and inspect the spark plugs. Annually, perform a comprehensive inspection and cleaning.
To replace the blades, first ensure the ignition is off and the key is removed. Use a block to prevent blade rotation, then remove the blade bolt. Replace with a new blade, ensuring it is installed in the correct orientation, then tighten the bolt securely.
Excessive vibration can be caused by uneven or damaged blades, debris lodged in the deck, or loose components. Check and balance the blades, remove any debris, and tighten all bolts and fasteners.
To extend battery life, keep it clean and free of corrosion. Charge it regularly, especially during storage, and avoid deep discharges. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
If the mower cuts unevenly, check if the tire pressure is equal on all tires and ensure the deck is level from side to side. Inspect the blades for sharpness and balance, replacing them if necessary.
It is not recommended to mow wet grass as it can lead to uneven cutting, clogging of the mower deck, and potentially damage the turf. Wait until the grass is dry for optimal mowing performance.
