Ensure the mower is on a flat surface, engage the parking brake, and set the throttle to low. Turn the key to the start position until the engine starts, then release it to the run position.
Check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Verify that the battery is charged and that all safety switches are engaged. Inspect the spark plug for damage or wear.
Regularly sharpen the blades and ensure they are balanced. Maintain the correct tire pressure and clean the deck to prevent grass buildup. Adjust the cutting height to suit the grass conditions.

To adjust tracking, use the tracking adjustment knob located under the seat. Turn it clockwise to increase speed on the left side or counterclockwise to increase speed on the right side.
