To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the mower deck. Move the lever to the desired position, corresponding to the height scale on the deck. This allows you to select the preferred grass cutting height.
If the mower does not start, check the battery for charge, ensure the fuel tank has sufficient fuel, and verify that the parking brake is engaged. Also, check the spark plug for wear or damage.
Regularly inspect the blades for sharpness and damage. Sharpen or replace them as needed. Always ensure the blades are balanced to avoid vibrations.
The recommended tire pressure is typically indicated on the tire sidewall or in the mower's manual. Ensure that both front and rear tires are inflated to these specifications for optimal performance.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season. Use the oil type specified in the user manual.
Safely lift the mower deck and use a garden hose to rinse grass clippings and debris. Avoid using high pressure to prevent damage, and ensure the mower is turned off before cleaning.
Check if the mower deck is level and the blades are sharp and balanced. Inspect the tire pressure and adjust as needed. Uneven terrain can also cause an uneven cut.
Inspect the mower for loose or missing parts, check fluid levels, ensure all safety guards are in place, and verify that the controls function properly.
Clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, remove or stabilize the fuel, and store it in a dry location. Disconnect the battery and cover the mower to protect it from dust and moisture.
Check for debris stuck in the blades or under the deck. Verify that the blades are balanced and not damaged. Inspect the engine mounts and fasteners for tightness.
