Ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO switch is in the 'Off' position, and the motion control levers are in the neutral position. Then, turn the key to start the mower.
Check the PTO switch and ensure it is in the 'On' position. Inspect the drive belt for any damage and verify that the battery is charged.
Change the engine oil every 100 hours of operation or at least once per mowing season, whichever comes first.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than 10%.
