To adjust the cutting height, locate the height-of-cut lever on the mower deck. Move the lever to the desired position, ensuring it clicks into place. Refer to the manual for the specific height settings available.
If the mower won't start, check the battery connections and ensure they are tight. Verify that the fuel tank is filled and the fuel is fresh. Inspect the spark plug for wear and replace if necessary. Also, ensure the safety interlocks are engaged.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Refer to the engine manual for specific oil type recommendations.
To clean the mower deck, safely elevate the mower and disconnect the spark plug. Use a garden hose to wash off grass clippings and debris. Avoid high-pressure washing to prevent damage to components. Dry thoroughly before storing.
To improve fuel efficiency, regularly perform maintenance such as air filter replacement, spark plug inspection, and blade sharpening. Ensure tire pressure is at the recommended level and avoid mowing at full throttle unless necessary.
If the blades are not engaging, check the PTO switch for any damage or malfunction. Inspect the belt for wear or slippage and replace if necessary. Ensure the battery is fully charged and the safety interlocks are properly engaged.
Uneven cutting can be due to dull blades, uneven tire pressure, or an unlevel deck. Sharpen or replace the blades as needed. Check and adjust tire pressure to the manufacturer's specifications. Level the deck according to the user manual.
Refer to the owner's manual for the exact recommended tire pressure. Generally, it should be around 13 psi for rear tires and 15 psi for front tires. Always check the tire sidewall for maximum pressure ratings.
To maintain the battery, keep it clean and free from corrosion. Ensure connections are tight. During off-season storage, disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Use a battery maintainer to keep it charged.
Excessive vibration may be caused by unbalanced blades, loose components, or damaged belts. Check and balance the blades, tighten any loose nuts and bolts, and inspect the belts for wear or damage.
