To start the mower, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO switch is off, and the motion control levers are in the neutral position. Turn the ignition key to the 'Start' position, and release it once the engine begins to run.
Perform daily inspections of safety interlock systems and the air filter. Change the engine oil and filter every 100 hours. Check and clean the mower deck and blades after each use. Inspect belts and pulleys every 50 hours.
Ensure the tire pressure is equal on both sides, check the mower deck for levelness, and inspect the blades for sharpness and damage. Also, make sure the grass is being cut dry and not too fast.
Check if the parking brake is disengaged and ensure the motion control levers are in the correct position. Inspect for any hydraulic fluid leaks or low levels, and ensure the bypass valves are closed.
Secure the mower and disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starting. Use a wrench to remove the blade bolt, then replace the old blade with a new one, ensuring it is aligned properly before tightening the bolt securely.
Clean the mower thoroughly and remove any grass clippings. Change the engine oil and run the engine to circulate the oil. Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Add fuel stabilizer to the tank and run the engine for a few minutes.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose hardware, or debris caught in the mower deck. Check and balance the blades, tighten any loose nuts and bolts, and clear any debris from the deck.
Locate the height adjustment lever on the mower deck. Move the lever to the desired cutting height position, ensuring it locks into place before operating the mower.
Check if the fuel tank is filled, the battery is charged, and the spark plug is functioning correctly. Ensure all safety interlocks are engaged and the air filter is clean.
The hydraulic system should be checked for leaks and fluid levels every 50 hours of operation. Replace the hydraulic fluid and filter every 250 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
