To start the mower, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO switch is off, and the motion control levers are in the neutral position. Then, turn the ignition key to the start position and release it when the engine starts.
Check that the PTO switch is in the 'on' position. If the problem persists, inspect the belt for wear and ensure it is properly tensioned. Also, verify that the PTO clutch is functioning correctly.
Regularly sharpen the blades, check for debris under the deck, and ensure the deck is level. Adjust the cutting height as needed for different grass conditions.
Perform an oil change every 100 hours of operation, replace the air filter annually, and inspect the spark plugs and belts regularly. Refer to the owner's manual for a comprehensive maintenance schedule.
Ensure the battery is charged and the terminals are clean. Check the fuel level and inspect the fuel filter for clogs. If the engine still does not start, inspect the spark plug for wear or damage.
To adjust the cutting height, use the height-of-cut lever located near the operator's seat. Ensure the mower is on a flat surface when making adjustments.
Check the blades for damage or imbalance, and ensure they are tightly secured. Inspect the deck for debris buildup and verify that all components are properly aligned.
First, disconnect the spark plug wire for safety. Then, remove the deck belt covers and the old belt. Install the new belt following the diagram in the owner's manual, and reattach the covers.
The Toro Z Master includes a rollover protection system (ROPS), a seat safety switch, and a blade brake system to enhance operator safety. Ensure these features are regularly inspected and maintained.
Maintain a regular servicing schedule, keep the blades sharp, and ensure the tire pressure is correctly set. Avoid mowing at full throttle unless necessary, and reduce idling time.
