Change the oil after the first 5 hours of operation and then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Adjust the cutting height by moving the lever on the side of the mower deck to the desired position. Ensure the mower is on a flat surface while adjusting.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and the battery is charged. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact a service professional.
Remove the blades from the mower and sharpen them using a bench grinder. Be sure to balance the blades before reinstalling them.
Regularly check and replace the oil, clean or replace the air filter, sharpen the blades, and inspect belts and cables for wear.
Turn off the mower, disconnect the spark plug, and use a hose to wash away grass clippings. Avoid using a pressure washer to prevent damage.
Check for unbalanced blades, loose bolts, or debris trapped under the deck. Tighten any loose parts and clear any obstructions.
Clean the mower, change the oil, remove the battery, and store it in a dry place. Add a fuel stabilizer to the tank to prevent fuel degradation.
Ensure the blades are sharp, the tire pressure is correct, and the mower deck is level. Mow when the grass is dry for the best results.
