To change the oil, first, run the engine for a few minutes to warm the oil. Then, turn off the engine and remove the oil drain plug. Allow the old oil to drain completely into a suitable container. Replace the drain plug, and refill with the recommended oil type and quantity according to the user manual.
Check the fuel level and ensure the fuel is fresh. Inspect the spark plug for damage or wear and replace if necessary. Make sure the air filter is clean. Additionally, check the battery charge and connections if your model uses an electric starter.
Blades should be sharpened every 20-25 hours of use or whenever you notice a decline in cutting performance. Always ensure the mower is off and the spark plug disconnected before removing the blades for sharpening.
