To change the oil, first ensure the tractor is on a level surface and the engine is cool. Remove the oil fill cap and drain the oil by removing the drain plug. Replace the plug, add new oil, and check the level using the dipstick.
It is recommended to use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and 10W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C). Always refer to the owner’s manual for specific recommendations.
Check the battery connections for corrosion and ensure they are tight. Verify that the fuel valve is open, and the fuel tank has enough gasoline. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
Ensure the PTO (Power Take-Off) lever is in the correct position. Check the drive belt for wear or damage and replace if needed. Inspect the PTO switch and wiring for any faults.
The air filter should be checked every 25 hours of use and replaced if it appears dirty or damaged. Regular replacement ensures optimal engine performance.
Uneven cutting may be due to improperly inflated tires, dull blades, or an uneven deck. Check tire pressure, sharpen or replace blades, and adjust the deck height as needed.
To improve traction, reduce speed when mowing on slopes, ensure tires are properly inflated, and consider using tire chains or wheel weights for added stability.
Before storage, clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, and disconnect the battery. Store in a dry, covered area to prevent moisture damage.
Adjust the cutting height by using the deck lift lever located on the tractor. Move it to the desired position for the preferred grass length. Ensure the deck is level for consistent cutting.
Excessive vibration may be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose parts, or worn belts. Inspect and balance the blades, tighten any loose components, and replace worn belts.
