Ensure the tractor is in neutral, engage the parking brake, and turn the ignition key to the start position until the engine starts.
Check the battery for sufficient charge, ensure the fuel tank is not empty, and inspect the spark plug and fuel filter for any blockages.
Change the oil every 50 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season, whichever comes first.
Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance in warmer temperatures. In cooler climates, 10W-30 can be used.
Check the tire pressure, ensure the mowing deck is level, and inspect the blades for sharpness and damage.
After each use, remove grass build-up by scraping the deck with a brush or plastic scraper. Avoid using high-pressure water that may damage bearings.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, remove the battery, and store it in a dry, sheltered area to prevent rust and damage.
Inspect the air filter, belts, blades, tires, and check all fluid levels. Tighten any loose bolts and lubricate moving parts as needed.
Use the height adjustment lever located on the side of the tractor to set the desired cutting height.
Check for debris or damage to the blades, ensure all bolts are tightened, and inspect the engine mounts and belts for wear.
