Toro Turbo Force 91-cm 30071 Operator's Manual

To start the mower, ensure it is on a flat surface. Check that the fuel valve is open, the parking brake is engaged, and the PTO switch is off. Turn the ignition key to the start position and release it once the engine starts.
If the mower doesn't start, check the battery charge, ensure there is fresh fuel, and inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. Verify that the safety switches are engaged and try starting again.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Use SAE 10W-30 oil for optimal performance.
Check if the deck is level and adjust if necessary. Inspect the blades for sharpness and damage, and replace them if needed. Ensure the tire pressure is equal on all sides.
Check the PTO switch and ensure it is in the "On" position. Inspect the drive belt for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Verify that the safety switches are functioning properly.
After use, remove any large debris by hand. Use a garden hose to rinse the underside of the deck, being careful to avoid the engine and electrical components. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
Before storage, clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and remove the battery. Add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank and run the engine briefly. Store in a dry place.
Adjust the cutting height to a higher setting to prevent scalping. Ensure the deck is level and that all tires are properly inflated. Avoid mowing uneven terrain at high speeds.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol as it can damage the engine components.
Remove the blades from the mower and use a bench grinder or file to sharpen them. Ensure the blades are balanced before reinstalling them to prevent vibration and uneven cutting.
