To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position to set the cutting height. Ensure both sides are set to the same height for an even cut.
Check the fuel level to ensure there is enough gasoline. Verify the spark plug is connected and not fouled. Make sure the air filter is clean and not clogged. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact a service professional.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours of operation or at the beginning of each mowing season.
Use SAE 30 or 10W-30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C). For colder temperatures, use 5W-30 oil. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific recommendations.
Ensure the tires are properly inflated to the recommended pressure. Adjust the cutting height to a higher setting to avoid scalping. Mow at a slower speed to improve control and cut quality.
Clean the mower deck to remove grass clippings and debris. Change the oil and remove any remaining fuel from the tank. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered location. Disconnect the battery if applicable.
Ensure the mower is turned off and disconnected from any power source. Tilt the mower safely and use a wrench to remove the blade bolt. Replace the blade and tighten the bolt securely.
Check for debris caught in the mower deck or around the blades. Inspect the blades for damage or imbalance. Tighten any loose components. If the issue continues, consult a technician.
It is not recommended to use the mower in wet conditions as it can lead to poor cutting performance, clogging, and potential damage to the mower. Wait until the grass is dry.
Turn off the mower and disconnect the spark plug. Use a brush or compressed air to remove grass clippings and debris from the deck and blades. Avoid using water to prevent rusting.
