Toro Titan ZX4800 74912 Setup Instructions

To start the Toro Titan ZX4800, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO switch is off, and the motion control levers are in the neutral position. Turn the ignition key to the 'Start' position and release it when the engine starts.
Check the fuel level, battery connections, and ensure the safety switches are engaged. Inspect the spark plug and replace if necessary. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact a service professional.
To change the oil, run the engine for a few minutes to warm it, then stop the engine. Remove the oil drain plug and allow the oil to drain completely. Replace the drain plug, and refill with the recommended oil type.
Use SAE 10W-30 or SAE 30 detergent oil classified "For Service SF, SG, SH, SJ" or higher. Ensure it meets the recommended viscosity based on the ambient temperature.
Adjust the cutting height by using the deck lift lever located on the right side of the mower. Move the lever to the desired cutting height position.
Ensure the blades are sharp and not worn out. Check if the deck is level and clear any debris that might be obstructing the blades.
Sharpen the blades at least once a season, or more frequently if you mow over rough terrain or notice a decline in cutting performance.
Maintain the front tires at 13 psi (90 kPa) and the rear tires at 10 psi (69 kPa) for optimal performance.
After each use, remove grass clippings and debris using a brush or air blower. For a thorough cleaning, use a garden hose to rinse underneath the deck, ensuring the engine is off and cool.
Check for loose or damaged parts, particularly the blades. Ensure all bolts are tight and the blades are balanced. If vibration persists, consult a professional technician for further inspection.
