Ensure the parking brake is engaged, the mower blades are disengaged, and the throttle is set to 'fast'. Turn the ignition key to the start position until the engine starts.
Check the battery connections, ensure there is fuel in the tank, and verify that the spark plug is clean and properly connected. Also, ensure the PTO switch is off and the parking brake is engaged.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of operation and then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
Ensure the blades are sharp and properly balanced. Mow at the correct height for your grass type and avoid mowing when the grass is wet.
Turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug. Use a hose to remove grass clippings and debris from the deck. Avoid using a high-pressure washer to prevent damage.
Excessive vibration may be caused by unbalanced or dull blades, loose hardware, or debris caught in the mower deck. Check and resolve these issues to reduce vibration.
Operate the mower across slopes rather than up and down. Avoid sudden turns and maneuvers. Always wear appropriate safety gear and follow the manufacturer's guidelines for slope operation.
Check the PTO switch to ensure it is functioning correctly. Inspect the drive belt for wear or damage and replace it if necessary. Also, verify that the battery is sufficiently charged.
Keep the battery terminals clean and free of corrosion. Charge the battery before storing the mower for an extended period and check the electrolyte levels regularly.
Check the oil level, inspect the air filter, and ensure that the blades are sharp and secure. Also, inspect the tires for proper inflation and check for any loose bolts or parts.
