To adjust the cutting height, locate the deck lift lever on the mower. Move the lever forward to raise the deck or backward to lower it. Ensure the mower is on a flat surface and the engine is off before making adjustments.
If the mower doesn't start, check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, and inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. Also, make sure the parking brake is engaged and the PTO switch is off before starting.
It is recommended to sharpen the mower blades every 20-25 hours of use or whenever you notice a decrease in cutting performance. Sharp blades are essential for a clean cut and overall mower efficiency.
Regular maintenance includes checking the oil level before each use, changing the oil and oil filter every 100 hours, cleaning the air filter every 25 hours, and inspecting the spark plug and blades periodically. Refer to the owner's manual for a detailed schedule.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure regular maintenance is performed, keep the blades sharp, maintain proper tire pressure, and avoid cutting wet grass. Additionally, operate the mower at the recommended engine speed.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced blade, debris lodged in the mower deck, or loose hardware. Inspect the blades for damage, clean the deck, and tighten any loose bolts or nuts.
To winterize the mower, clean the exterior and mower deck thoroughly, change the oil, add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel system, and store the battery in a cool, dry place. Cover the mower to protect it from dust and moisture.
To replace the drive belt, remove the mower deck, release the belt tension, and slide the old belt off the pulleys. Install the new belt following the same path and ensure it's properly tensioned before reattaching the deck.
Use high-quality SAE 10W-30 motor oil for the Toro Titan MyRide mower. For optimal performance, choose oil that meets or exceeds the API service classification SJ or higher.
Uneven cutting can be caused by dull blades, uneven tire pressure, or misaligned deck. Sharpen the blades, ensure all tires are inflated to the recommended pressure, and check that the deck is level side-to-side and front-to-back.
