To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the mower deck. Move the lever to the desired position, ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 inches, ensuring that the mower is on a flat surface for accurate adjustment.
First, check if the battery is properly connected and charged. Ensure that the parking brake is engaged and the blades are disengaged. Verify that there is fuel in the tank and that the fuel valve is open. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact a professional technician.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first. Always refer to the engine manufacturer's guidelines for specific oil type and maintenance intervals.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol to prevent engine damage.
Regularly inspect the mower blades for sharpness and damage. Sharpen or replace blades as needed, usually every 25 hours of operation. Always disconnect the spark plug before performing maintenance on the blades.
Drain the fuel system or add a fuel stabilizer. Change the oil and replace the oil filter. Remove and clean the battery, storing it in a cool, dry place. Clean the mower deck and check all belts and hoses for wear. Store the mower in a dry, covered area.
Check the tire pressure to ensure all tires are equally inflated. Inspect the blades for sharpness and damage. Verify that the mower deck is level and adjust if necessary. Clear any debris from the underside of the deck.
Turn off the mower and disconnect the spark plug. Locate the air filter cover and remove it. Take out the old air filter and replace it with a new one. Reattach the cover securely before reconnecting the spark plug.
Regularly clean the battery terminals and apply a thin coat of terminal protector. Keep the battery charged, especially before long periods of inactivity. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Inspect the blades for balance and damage. Check for loose or missing bolts and tighten them as needed. Ensure that the belts are properly tensioned and in good condition.
