To start the mower, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO switch is off, and the motion control levers are in neutral. Then, turn the ignition key to the start position.
Check that the PTO switch is in the 'on' position. Inspect the drive belts for wear or damage and ensure they are properly tensioned. Verify that the battery is fully charged.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours thereafter. Always use the oil type specified in the user manual.
Uneven cutting can be caused by dull blades, incorrect tire pressure, or an improperly leveled deck. Ensure blades are sharp, tires are inflated to the correct pressure, and the deck is level.
Check the battery connections, ensure the fuel tank is not empty, and verify that the spark plug is functioning. Also, make sure the safety switches are not engaged.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, cleaning the air filter, inspecting the blades, and checking tire pressure. Lubricating moving parts is also essential.
The cutting height can be adjusted using the height-of-cut lever located near the operator's seat. Move the lever to the desired height setting.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced blades, loose hardware, or debris caught in the mower deck. Check for these issues and correct them as needed.
To clean the mower deck, use a garden hose to remove grass clippings and debris. Ensure the mower is turned off and cool before cleaning. Use a scraper for any stubborn debris.
The recommended tire pressure is typically around 12-15 psi for the front tires and 8-10 psi for the rear tires. Always refer to the user manual for exact specifications.
