To install the bagger, first ensure the mower is off and parked on a level surface. Attach the bagger support assembly to the rear of the mower, securing it with the provided bolts. Then, slide the bagger into the support assembly and lock it in place. Ensure all connections are secure before use.
Check if the bagger is full or if the discharge chute is clogged. Clean the chute and empty the bagger as needed. Ensure the mower blades are sharp and set to the correct height for optimal grass collection.
Regular maintenance should be performed at the start and end of the mowing season. This includes checking for wear and tear, cleaning the bagger, and ensuring all parts are functioning properly.
It is not recommended to use the bagger with wet grass, as it can lead to clogging and inefficient collection. Always try to mow when the grass is dry for best results.
Remove the bagger from the mower and empty any remaining grass clippings. Use a brush or hose to clean the inside and outside of the bagger. Allow it to dry completely before reattaching it to the mower.
Check all mounting points and fasteners to ensure they are tight. If necessary, adjust or replace any components that may be worn or damaged.
To prevent clogging, regularly inspect the chute for debris and clean it after each use. Sharpen mower blades and mow at a suitable height to improve grass flow into the bagger.
Regular maintenance, such as cleaning after each use and storing in a dry place, will help prolong the life of the bagger. Additionally, inspect for any signs of damage and repair them promptly.
Ensure the support assembly is correctly aligned and that all bolts and fasteners are properly tightened. Check for any obstructions or damage that might prevent a secure fit.
Always turn off the mower before attaching or removing the bagger. Wear appropriate safety gear, such as gloves and eye protection. Never attempt to clear clogs or perform maintenance while the mower is running.
