Regularly inspect the blades for wear and damage. Sharpen them as needed and replace them if they are bent or worn beyond repair.
Check for loose or damaged parts, especially the blades and engine mounts. Ensure the blades are balanced and the tires are properly inflated.
Keep the blades sharp, mow at the correct height, and do not cut more than one-third of the grass height in a single pass.
Use a garden hose to wash off grass clippings and debris after each use. Avoid using high-pressure water, which may damage components.
Check that the deck is level and the blades are sharp and properly installed. Adjust the deck height settings and inspect for any obstructions.
